Create a DIY resin jewelry holder using knob molds, acrylic paint, and EasyCast Clear Casting Epoxy.
Hey Resin Crafters! Amber Oliver here with another great resin craft. Jewelry crafts are some of my favorites. I recently made some pretty amazing resin confetti earrings and last month I showed you how to layer resin to create a neat little ring holder. This month, let’s use EasyCast Clear Casting Epoxy to create some colorful knobs for a DIY resin jewelry holder!
SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR DIY RESIN JEWELRY HOLDER:
- EasyCast Clear Casting Epoxy
- Acrylic paint in the colors of your choice
- Knob Molds
- Mixing Cups (large and small)
- Stir Sticks
Step 1: First, prepare the EasyCast Clear Casting Epoxy. This is a multi-step process so don’t start mixing until you are ready to do the whole process from beginning to end! Start by mixing EQUAL parts of the Hardener and the Resin.
Stir for two minutes (be sure to scrape the bottoms and sides) then pour from the first cup into a second and mix with a new stir stick for another minute.
Step 2: Once the resin is ready, pour a small amount (enough for each knob) into seperate small cups.
Step 3: Carefully add in a small drop of acrylic paint. Mix thoroughly.
Step 4: Once your colors are ready, pour into the mold and allow enough time for the resin to cure. Then you can remove from their molds!
Step 5: Glue your resin pieces onto a piece of wood and use the colorful knobs to hang your necklaces!
I had a piece of scrap wood in my garage that was the perfect size for this project. With a quick coat of white paint, my resin knobs really popped! I hung my DIY Resin Jewelry Holder with some command strips, but you could also add hooks on the back if you’re concerned it will fall.
This project can easily be customized in any colors or size you wish. I hope this project inspires you to took at resin knobs in a new light and hope you’ll try this project for yourself!

This is such a beautiful jewellery holder! I am loving the colours you chose. I am all about making things as colourful as possible, and you chose such perfect shades – they all complement each other so well ???? Ahh, is there anything resin CAN’T do?!

I know this probably isn’t the place. But every here is and seems to be a lot more experienced with Resin! I was wondering if I could use resin as a coating over a candle to make it harder. I plan on making a mold out of the candle with silicone. And I am hoping the resins can act like a hard smooth surface, so the silicone will not stick to the candle. Or break it.
