Do I need to seal coat my project?

Most surfaces must be sealed prior to coating. Porous surfaces such as paper, fabric and wood require at least one or two good seal coats. Use a white craft glue such as “Ultra-Seal” to seal the porous surface. Non-porous surfaces such as metal, glass or plastic can be coated without sealing. If in doubt, we highly recommend you test the surface to be coated before moving forward with your project.
