Resin Inspiration

This necklace was designed by Parisian jewelry designer Fanny Fouks.  I have a few of her pieces now and thought I would share my most recent purchase.
The pendant is made of several layers of resin.
I love how a simple drilled hole was used to accommodate the dangle.
There are four drilled holes for the cords.  I think this is beautiful.  No glue was needed to add a bail or other jewelry component.

Beautiful piece… Any recommendations for buying a drill for that kind of work?

Resin is very soft compared to wood, I use a hand drill from Fiskars and it goes through it like butter.

This is so cute! does the middle dangle go all the way through to the other side? it gets me thinking….always dangerous 😀

Hi Nicole. I am wearing this necklace today. Yes, it goes all the way through. The artist put a little extra felt on the back to cover the hole and wire, so I can't see what is holding it in place. Probably just a bend in the wire.
