I have a little repair project on my table this week.
I keep a number of molds on my desk so that if I ever have leftover resin from a project I just pour it into a mold. In this case, I used two different pours to create the silver bird and the green background.
The colours I made by adding acrylic paint to my mixed resin. One day I added the silver paint plus resin to the mold to form the bird. A few weeks later I had some leftover resin which I added green acrylic paint to…that created the background. I do see that the lower right side is lighter than the rest of the background. No doubt I did not mix my paint enough. No matter, I know I can still make something with this and I didn’t waste any resin!

I like the variation in the green, we do it all the time with paper, don't we?

What a great tip, thank you for sharing Carmi.

Great Idea, Carmi! I always seem to have leftover resin – especailly when I'm just trying to mix enough for a touch-up or a dome! I'll start doing this over the weekend and will even more "toys" to work with next week! Thanks, as always! Pat
