Celebrate summer by making a few pairs of these DIY popsicle earrings from resin. This is actually a great beginner project to the world of two-part epoxy resin if you have been looking for one. Plus, who can resist a cute pair of earrings perfect for showing off at the beach? Be sure to make a few pairs as you will want to give some of these as gifts as well.

How to Make These Popsicle Earrings
Measure and mix your 2 part epoxy resin according to the package directions. Be sure to follow the 2 cup mixing procedure and wear protective gloves when working with the product. Then split the mixed resin between two small disposable cups. Tint the resin in the cups with the pigments. I used two drops of the transparent dye and one drop of the white opaque pigment in each of my cups. This creates a creamy looking color in your finished product.
Then pour right into your popsicle mold. This particular mold did not need any Mold Release & Conditioner as it is extremely flexible. I poured my entire popsicle with one color as shown below. Pop any bubbles that rise to the surface and allow to cure completely on a flat surface.
Once cured, pop your popsicles out of the mold.
You can then add the paint of your choice. I used some brown on each of the sticks. I also added a stripe of a contrasting color to the dark pink popsicles but this is optional. Allow the paint to dry completely before continuing.
Then flip the DIY popsicle earrings over to add the backs. Use a jewelry adhesive to secure into place and allow to dry.
Once dry, your DIY popsicle earrings are ready to wear or give as gifts.
I love these cute little earrings and find them a great beginner project for casting your own resin.
They are so small so there is not much product needed and you really can’t mess these up!
Mix and match the colors of your choice to go with every outfit you have this summer. Y’all enjoy and be sure to grab the supplies to make several pairs of these DIY popsicle earrings.
