Resin Flower Cabochon Jewelry with EasyMold + FastCast
Hi Resin Crafters, it’s Natalie from Doodlecraft with another fun and quick resin craft! Resin flower cabochons are so cute and simple. They make the perfect jewelry set, great for gifts. Make a resin flower cabochon mold and cast as many of these little delicate flowers as you wish. Make resin flower cabochon jewelry using EasyMold to make your own silicone mold and then FastCast and dyes to make as many varieties as your heart desires.
Supplies Needed for Mold Making:
Flower Cabochons (ironic, right?)This process works great if you have a pair of earrings you already love…or just want to make more of them. The silicone putty comes in 2 tubs, one white and one is purple.
Supplies Needed for Casting Flower Cabochons:
FastCast Urethane Casting Resin
Transparent Dyes in Green and Blue
Cabochon Mold (made from instructions above or purchased on amazon link)
Begin by putting one drop of green and one drop of blue translucent dyes in the mixing cup.
Then add 1/2 tsp of bottle A and 1/2 tsp of bottle B and mix them with a stick for 1 full minute. Next transfer the resin to a separate mixing cup and stir with a new stick for 30 seconds.
